Request for Proposal for Food Service Vendor
Pathways to College K8 (PTC) is a Charter School, authorized by the Hesperia Unified School District. PTC currently serves approximately 400 students, in grades TK through 8th. PTC's new school site is currently under construction and anticipated to open in January 2025. Upon transition to the new campus, PTC's enrollment will expand to approximately 475 students. PTC invites written proposals from qualified companies for vended meals for our Nutrition Services Program, both the current site and future site. Service includes the school breakfast, lunch, supper, and if approved, summer program.
Pathways to College K8 Background
Pathways to College K8, formed in March 2006 as a Kindergarten through 4th Grade school and feeder school to Crosswalk High School, was founded to create a safe and secure educational environment with comprehensive programs to guarantee intellectual, moral, social, emotional, and physical development for students of varying abilities. In June 2009, the school was reorganized to become a Kindergarten through 8th Grade school under Crosswalk: Hesperia Experiential Learning Pathways, a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation.
Currently, we are seeking proposals to service PTC. The services specified in the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be provided at Pathways to College K8, 9144 3rd Ave, Hesperia, CA 92345. In January 2025, we plan to transition to our new site building located at 10127 3rd Ave, Hesperia, CA 92345.
