Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! I am so excited to have you in my classroom! I look forward to meeting each of you at our back to school night on Tuesday, August 8th.
It has been such an honor teaching your children and watching them grow! Now its time to enjoy summer! Remember to keep reading all summer! Come see me in the fall!!!!
We finished up talking about Penguins and Polar Bears by taking the "Polar Bear Plunge". Students got to see how important "blubber" is to these animals that live in the cold...so we wrapped their paws in vegetable shortening and let them take the test. They all agreed blubber is better!
Our little ones wrapping up fire safety week! We LOVE our fire fighters!
Thanks to all who came out to the Fall Festival! It was a great success!
A great wrap-up to Red Ribbon Week. Fall Festival tomorrow (10-28) 2-6 pm!
Our trip to Riley's Farm was so much fun! All that we had been learning for the past 2 weeks came to life as we got a glimpse of life long ago...from washing and cleaning a one-room house, to a hay ride and playing with toys from long ago!
