Meet Mrs. Galvan
I am so excited to be a part of the Pathways Family! This is my second year at Pathways. I have also taught 1st grade in Rancho Cucamonga and I am thrilled to be with "Firsties" again! In addition to 1st grade I have taught 5th grade, worked as a substitute teacher in all grades, and tutored students in many different facets.
I am originally from Rancho Cucamonga. I moved to Orange County to attend CSU Fullerton, where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree as well as my teaching credential. I ended up staying in O.C. for 13 years, during which time I married my husband and had 2 adorable kids - Katie 3 1/2 and Drew 6. We relocated back to the Inland Empire in 2014 and purchased our first home last December in North Rialto!
I am so excited and blessed to continue with my passion of helping young children become life-long readers, writers, mathematicians, learners, and great citizens. I believe that a well rounded education is the key to success in the 21st century. I believe that becoming readers and writers in 1st grade is imperative and helps to develop a love for learning.
I am looking forward to developing a collaborative relationship with each and every one of my Pathways families. I look forward to working with you this year as we watch your child bloom and grow!
